Senior Data Engineer - Python & AWS

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa375,000 + 10% Bonus

A global consulting and technology firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Python and AWS to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Consultant in this role, you will play a key part in shaping and delivering innovative data solutions for our clients. Responsibilities:

• Data Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data engineering solutions using Python and AWS technologies.
• Architecture: Contribute to the design and implementation of data architecture, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and transform data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Optimization: Continuously optimize and enhance existing data pipelines to meet evolving business and technical requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide data engineering expertise to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of [5] years of experience in a Data Engineering role, with a focus on Python and AWS.
• Python Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in building and optimizing data pipelines.
• AWS Knowledge: Solid experience with AWS data services, such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, etc.
• Database Skills: Proficient in working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex data challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Consulting Experience: Previous experience in a consulting environment is highly desirable.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and client-facing skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
