Job Description

Opening for a Senior Cost Controller to support the Project Manager, advising on all finance related matters to assigned projects. You will be an expert in project cost control working with multiple departments to include Finance and Projects Teams.Main duties and responsibilities:

• Managing and conducting Cost Control activities such as VOWD (Value of Work Done), Forecasting, client and internal reporting to internal stakeholders.
• Being capable of General Ledger analysis and actualising techniques with input to Cost Model templates during reforecasting.
• Presenting Cost Control analysis in monthly (PMR) xe2x80x93 ensuring management of time during strict deadlines.
• Contributing to lessons learned sessions to feedback valuable analysis from completed/ongoing projects for future tendering activity. Providing estimations where necessary.
• Analysing contracts thoroughly to identify key drivers for invoicing clients and also performing invoicing duties from sourcing backup through to invoice creation.
• Posting manual accruals/journals into the ERP system and understand/comply with accounting standards.
• Performing and chasing clients for credit control/payments.
• Discussing/liaising with internal counterparts for intercompany transactions and invoicing.
• Multi-company reporting.
• Understanding FX implications for reporting duties.
