The role
As a Senior Cost Controller, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary where you look to enhance project performance and stability through the collection, analysis, investigation and reporting of meaningful cost information to allow informed decision-making at a program, project and zonal level.

Day to day, you\'ll be responsible for all aspects of cost control. This will include governance and SME advice on cost capture.

• Managing actuals against multiple cost performance baselines
• Managing change against multiple performance baselines
• Producing internal and external monthly reporting
• Conducting data analysis and recommendations
• Coordinating forecasts from activity owners

Essential experience of the Senior Cost Controller:

• Experience of a cost control/management environment
• An understanding of project controls, specifically cost control, earned value, finance, scheduling or estimating
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels of the business
• Previous data analysis experience with a working knowledge of Excel
• Personal effectiveness and drive
• Experience of a purpose-built cost management system (Cobra, Ecosys et cetera) - beneficial

We offer hybrid working with 1-2 days working from home and the rest of the week based on site at Devonport.

Qualifications for the Senior Cost Controller:

• Educated to degree level or qualified with an APMP/ or equivalent experience - beneficial

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC and potentially NNPPI security clearance for this role.
