The job

We need someone who sees the product through our users' eyes, manages business needs, and champions the importance of Content Design as an essential part of a product team. You bring creativity and clarity to every touchpoint, making complex concepts simple, human, and engaging.


Your Experience




Must have:




Proven experience in prototyping new products, designing end-to-end experiences, and creating impactful micro-copy for optimisations and experiments. Strong ability to devise design solutions, create processes, and manage deliverables while balancing business needs, user needs, and design best practices. A track record of collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and building strong stakeholder relationships. Experience with iterative design processes and experimenting to optimise user journeys. Expertise using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform content design decisions. Confidence in facilitating workshops, critiques, and content reviews to ensure high-quality work while helping others improve their content design. Highly organised and able to effectively prioritise your own content deliverables with your team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including designers, product managers, and leadership. Skilled in explaining design hypotheses, processes, and rationale. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve user experience, workflows, and processes. Experience designing for mobile apps and working on regulated topics, like health or finance. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Miro) and a strong understanding of design systems and workflows. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment with varied challenges.

What you'll be doing




You'll be responsible for:




Create clear, concise, and compelling content for Flo's in-app core experience. Help define the proposition for new features, shape narratives, and collaborate with other disciplines on features that span different teams and product streams. Collaborate with Product Designers, UX Researchers, Data Analysts, and Product Managers to define and design new experiences within our app. Partner with Conversation Designers, Editorial, and Marketing teams to deliver impactful and consistent content across the user experience. Work with our Medical, Science, and Legal teams to ensure that content meets industry and regulatory standards. Work closely with our Localisation team to maintain consistency across different markets. Facilitate workshops, crits, and reviews. Take a data-driven approach to content design decisions, leveraging internal tools and insights to drive content quality and meet success metrics Proactively identify areas to enhance user experiences, collaborating across disciplines to find solutions. Advocate for Content Design both within your team and in the broader community. Promote human-centred design, readability, accessibility, and inclusivity. Support other Content Designers by sharing best practices and collaborating.
