PACE Analyst Developer

What the day will look like

In this role, collaboration is key to help deliver cat pricing and accumulation. This is via the PACE product, which uses ReMetrica as the engine. We have about 6 licensees with about USD400k in revenue annually. We also have about 2 clients signing up each year and a number of prospects. We are also looking at developing the TEAM product, which will perform a similar function, using the latest skills in the near future.

The PACE team is part of the ReMetrica team. Both are small teams and a highly level of control and influence is available so there is no typical day \xe2\x80\x93 it could include any of the following: * Amend the code to produce a new release

• Work on a sales bid
• Deal with existing customers in implementing their cat pricing and accumulation
• Training catastrophe modellers to use the PACE product to it\xe2\x80\x99s full potential

This role will give you experience of the reinsurance industry and catastrophe modelling with the potential to earn the latest skills in moving to other products in the area such as the new TEAM product. You will be working with the small ReMetrica team and also with a much larger STG team developing the latest reinsurance software products. You will also be able to have huge influence and control over large portions of the PACE product development lifecycle and will be able to help shape the product.

Skills and experience that will lead to success * IT and software development, with advanced IT problem solving skills. The candidate must be able to debug error messages, interpret error logs, etc\xe2\x80\xa6

• Robust SQL skills.
• This will be a customer facing role so good soft skills are essential.
• C# proficiency. The candidate should be able to debug and write C#.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency, including writing Excel AddIns.

It would also be advantageous to have the following skills: * ReMetrica experience \xe2\x80\x93 or just in Monte Carlo simulations.

• Experience with catastrophe modelling or portfolio accumulation, ideally in an insurance or reinsurance environment.
