What you will do:

• Handle applications for listed building consent, ensuring that these historical sites are preserved and maintained with practical yet sensitive methods.
• Provide expert advice on pre-applications and assist with the discharge of conditions to ensure compliance with conservation standards.
• Respond to general enquiries and offer guidance on enforcement issues relating to heritage at risk.
• Participate in the potential update of the local plan, contributing insights that support sustainable development while respecting historical significance.
• Conduct site visits as required, using your own vehicle to assess and strategize conservation efforts on the ground.
