An excellent opportunity just became available for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join a high profile Central Government Organisation on a 6 months contract with potential to be extended.

The role is hybrid, based in Central London and will be shaping and optimising the client\xe2\x80\x99s cloud environment and will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining their cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Successful candidate profile:

\xe2\x80\x93 strong background in cloud architecture, networking and security

\xe2\x80\x93 strong AWS experience including creating and maintaining VPC\xe2\x80\x99s, security groups, network ACL\xe2\x80\x99s, subnets & nat gateways with a focus on creating private infrastructure with controlled access

\xe2\x80\x93 hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining scalable, reliable and cost effective solutions on AWS

\xe2\x80\x93 expert skills in IAC (Terraform, Cloudformation) including moving legacy infrastructure into state

\xe2\x80\x93 previous Government/Public Sector experience working in Agile environments

Active Security Clearance SC level is required for this role and would be a significant plus. The Hiring Manager will review non SC cleared candidates if skills and experience are a strong match for the role.
