What will you be doing?

• Identify legacy services, applications, and security gaps. Modernise and prepare a roadmap for Public Cloud adoption, predominantly, but not limited to, Azure.
• Carry out migrations of on-prem Windows Server systems and MS SQL Databases to Azure,
• Perform server hardening, patching, security process optimisation, and incorporate best practice standards and security controls across the estate to achieve and maintain compliance with ISO27001 & Cyber Essentials+.
• Architect and implement solutions across backups, logging, health monitoring, and SIEM integrations.
• Work on escalated L3+ service desk tickets or incidents.

So, what are we looking for?

We recruit individuals at all levels based on merit. Some of the key sills we are looking for:

• SME on Azure IaaS and PaaS offerings, across the compute, network, and storage stacks:

IAM, VMs, Availability Zones, AVD, Azure SQL, SQL MI, Storage Account, Automation Account, VNET, Load Balancer, Virtual Network Gateway, Snapshots and Backups, Sentinel * Solid experience with on-prem Windows Server based systems and extensive knowledge of their backend design principles and architecture, ideally in a Hybrid environment:

Active Directory, SCCM, MS SQL, SharePoint, AAD Connect, NPS, ADCS, DFS * Highly security oriented individual, ideally with a background of working in an ISO27001, Cyber Essentials+, PCI, or other compliant environment, with a solid understanding of core security controls and practices such as PIM/PAM, Windows Firewall, Privileged Access Workstation.

• (Desirable) Proficient in other Public Cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP.
• (Desirable) Experience with scripting, automation, and Infrastructure-As-Code.
• (Desirable) Experience with serverless compute technologies, containerised workloads and orchestration platforms.
• (Desirable) Exposure to working within an automation-heavy (DevOps/TechOps) environment.
