If you have not heard from us within five weeks of the closing date, please assume that you have not been shortlisted.Main duties of the jobThe main duties of the post involve Registrar level care of inpatients under Palliative Care, working in clinic and outpatients, and performing the regular functions of a Medical Registrar.You will be part of a consultant led team participating in daily Board rounds. There will be consultant ward rounds of new patients, with SpR led ward rounds of existing patients. There may be opportunity for interested individuals to carry out supervised outpatient clinics and MDTs.The Registrar will liaise with the consultant, nurses and other staff to allocate the day's activity appropriately.The Registrar will be expected to assess and manage patients with the support of the consultant and using appropriate clinical guidelines.There are multiple multi-disciplinary meetings between doctors, nursing staff, and specialist teams for the care of patients.About usWe provide services from two main hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital, and a number of clinics across London and the South-East.
