This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working in special education or has previous experience with SEND. As a senior position, we are seeking a teacher between MPS 4 and UPS 2. The school specializes in providing education for children with Autism, while following the national curriculum. With a focus on creating a family atmosphere where pupils and families feel supported, the school takes a holistic approach to each child\'s learning journey. We are looking for an academic, creative, and nurturing teacher to join their team. About the school: This small and inclusive school provides a specialist provision for children with Autism. While the school follows the national curriculum, it aims to create a family atmosphere where pupils and families feel supported throughout their educational journey. Around 85% of the pupils go on to mainstream secondary school education, highlighting the school\'s commitment to preparing students for future success. Each class consists of approximately 10 children, supported by three Teaching Assistants. The curriculum focuses on a creative and fun approach to learning, with an emphasis on music, PE, drama, and arts. Responsibilities: Lead a class of approximately 10 children, following the national curriculum. Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Develop individualized education plans for students with ECHPs for Autism. Implement creative and fun learning strategies, incorporating music, PE, drama, and arts. Foster a supportive and nurturing atmosphere that promotes academic and social growth. Liaise with parents and other professionals to ensure each child\'s needs are met.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications. Experience working in special education or with SEND students (experience with Autism is preferred). Passion for providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Creativity in lesson planning and delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
