Duties

Supervise and support junior care staff in daily activities and responsibilities. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Drive the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each resident. Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support. Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress in accordance with regulatory standards. Ensure a safe and clean environment within the care home by adhering to health and safety regulations. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in senior care.

Experience

Previous experience in a senior care or similar role is essential. Proven ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive team environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for liaising with residents and their families. Familiarity with IT systems used for record keeping and care plan documentation is advantageous. A background in leadership within a care home setting will be highly regarded. on call when require
