Overview: We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a caring and supportive environment. Duties: - Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents based on their specific needs and requirements. - Supervise and support Care Assistants in delivering exceptional care services. - Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. - Monitor and record residents' vital signs, report any changes to the healthcare team promptly. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents. - Maintain accurate and confidential resident records in accordance with regulatory standards. - Support residents with medication administration as prescribed by healthcare providers. - Engage with residents to promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being. Experience: - Previous experience working in a care home setting is essential. - Proficiency in developing and implementing care plans. - Strong leadership skills to effectively supervise and support junior staff members. - Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. - Ability to use IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes. - Demonstrated drive and passion for senior care services.
