This role is based in either our central London or Manchester office, 3 days per week.


We're on the rise - and we're looking for someone who's been in the thick of IT reselling or tech solutions integration to come and help us raise the bar even higher. The Role: Senior Buyer

This is a pivotal role, supporting the Category Manager and driving procurement excellence across a dynamic, sales-driven business. As a subject matter expert in the IT reseller space, you'll take the lead in managing vendor relationships, improving supplier performance, and aligning procurement priorities with CDW's growth strategy.


You'll bring a proactive mindset to supplier negotiations, process improvement, and collaboration across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Be the go-to procurement expert in your category, delivering outstanding service to internal and external stakeholders. Take ownership of purchasing workflows, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Build and nurture supplier relationships that drive profit and boost operational performance. Dive into supplier spend and market trends to uncover cost savings and added value. Help deliver purchasing metrics and support wider procurement goals. Partner closely with sales, inventory, finance, and more - aligning procurement with the bigger picture. Provide leadership within the team and act as the first point of escalation. Assist in shaping new policies and driving system improvements. Play a role in hiring, onboarding, and coaching new team members. Help cultivate a collaborative, solutions-led culture across the team and the wider business.

What You'll Bring

Proven procurement experience - ideally from an IT reseller or tech solutions integrator background. Commercially sharp, with a strong track record in supplier negotiation and contract management. Data-savvy, with the ability to turn spend and market insights into smart decisions. A confident communicator who can engage and influence at every level. Calm under pressure, with great organizational skills and an eye for detail. Comfortable with procurement systems (Navision or similar) and Excel/Word.
