What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

\xc2\xb7 Providing day-to-day support to sourcing and procurement activities, either through the management of day-to-day routine procurement activities, or by supporting strategic procurement initiatives or projects

\xc2\xb7 Taking a lead role in the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract negotiation / execution and ongoing Supplier Performance and Relationship Management

\xc2\xb7 Providing challenge into the conventional way of thinking and contracting, in order to develop innovative, business winning solutions

\xc2\xb7 Managing and influencing internal stakeholders across the business

\xc2\xb7 Negotiating on existing and new contracts to ensure best cost / service to the business

\xc2\xb7 Supporting the business in delivery of key projects as well as leading projects solely

\xc2\xb7 Managing suppliers to ensure there is a professional and effective business relationship

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrable track record of Indirect Procurement / Commercial acumen

\xc2\xb7 Contract management experience

\xc2\xb7 Multi-site procurement and stakeholder management experience

\xc2\xb7 Experience of working within a complex supply chain environment such as: large retailers, oil & gas, aerospace, automotive, nuclear etc

Desirable:

\xc2\xb7 Software category management experience

The Procurement team:

You will be joining a team in which you can influence and mould suppliers, giving the opportunity to make this role your own. In a role where no two days are the same, there is also potential for expansion, growth, and development within this role

You will work as part of the Software Procurement team, managing strategic vendors and procuring services and products on behalf of multiple business groups. Using the procurement lifecycle as a tool, you will manage vendors in line with the category strategy and support its implementation across the wider Software category.
