This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis and offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.

The role
As the BTS Senior Systems Support you will be a key member of the Business Technology Services (BTS) leadership team, reporting to the Assistant Director of BTS.
BTS sits at the heart of IT Services and bridges the gap between IT and the business on matters relating to the provision and automation of critical business services. This currently includes Finance, HR, Planning and CRM systems.
The BTS roadmap is fully aligned with the University's Strategy 2030 and as such the service catalogue is likely to expand with time.
This role will lead a small team of systems analysts and will provide support for the safe running of the university's business critical services, ensuring they are supported and developed according to agreed roadmaps. Maintaining and developing the integrations between these systems is a central part of the role.
You
You'll be successful in this role if you have: Experience of managing teams, setting performance standards and targets, creating communities, and motivating others.
Previous experience of working with business-critical systems such as Finance, HR, Planning and CRM systems
Demonstrable experience of having supported, developed and optimised business systems, with experience of change management, the software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
A strong finance background, ideally with a recognised finance qualification or relevant experience
Strong technical skills with specific experience of working with systems integrations
