Job Description
We are seeking an experienced senior bookkeeper who MUST be sage line 50 specialist. This vacancy provides a great opportunity to join an property company in Old Street. Responsibilities will include but not exclusive to:
- Day to day accounting
- Quarterly management and balance sheet accounts
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Cash management
- Credit control
- Accruals and prepayments
- Bank receipts and payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Purchase day books, ledgers and reconciliations
- Sales day books ,ledgers and reconciliations
- Nominal ledgers
- Trial balances
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Preparation of cash flow forecasts
- Monthly and Quarterly VAT returns including reconciliations
- Credit card analysis
- Authorizing payments
- Master analysis of Banks and loans
- Preparation of cash flow forecasts
- Preparing Accounts for audit to include end of year analysis for the accountants
- CIS control and reconciliation
- Payee/NI control and reconciliation
- Qualified or P/Q ACCA or CMA
- Computer literate
- Must be well-spoken, and be able to prove your communication skills clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Wide knowledge of all aspects of book keeping and accountancy
- Knowledge and Experience in: Sage Line 50 Multi- Company, Sage Payroll Multi- Company, Excel and Excel reporting and Word
- Be well organized and punctual.
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Have you worked in the property sector ?
- bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
