You\xe2\x80\x99ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO\xe2\x80\x99s partners to help businesses effectively. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with. The management of the firm\xe2\x80\x99s flexible benefits plan, Flexcel, including benefits brokering and procurement, and management of third party suppliers/advisors, will form a central part of the role, as will research and analysis of the benefits market and the implementation of new benefits. The creation of benefits tools and materials and their delivery to both HR and the business will be a key deliverable as well as the provision of support and advice on benefits issues. Ongoing analysis and reporting of ROI is a critical objective for this role as is continued improvement in process design. In this busy and rewarding role, you will be the internal subject matter expert of our Pension Schemes and will work closely with Pension Fund Trustees, pension plan administrators and external pension lawyers to ensure our Schemes are both competitive and effective. You\'ll also:

  • Focus on new initiatives, whilst reviewing our current offering, to ensure the firm remains competitive in this area as well as ensuring benefits deliver ROI both in terms of cost and employee value
  • Manage Flexcel and third-party administrators throughout the year
  • Own and develop the internal benefits website
  • Flexcel plan design, including addition/changes in benefits for annual renewal
  • Flexcel system development and enhancements to enrolment solutions
  • Develop communications supporting Flexcel, wider benefit and employee recognition schemes
  • Own and create policy documentation for Flexcel and Insite, the firm\xe2\x80\x99s intranet site
  • Manage internal communication initiatives and creation of promotional materials (brochures, posters, employee presentations)
  • Manage benefits advisor as subject matter expert
  • Educate wider HR team on wider benefits offering and supporting on benefits queries
  • Project manage of annual benefits renewal (including Pension)
  • Own annual benefits rebrokering/procurement, liaise with suppliers/brokers, negotiate rates
  • Manage administrative services provided by third party supplier
You\'ll be someone with:
  • Experience of working within a team responsible for the delivery of benefits management and administration
  • Proven project management experience gained through relevant project implementation(s)
  • Proven experience of complex reward modelling and statistical analysis
  • A good understanding of reward theory and its practical application to business strategy
  • Proven experience of pension management and administration
  • Evidence of strong compensation and benefits experience
  • Experience of rebrokering of complex benefit
  • Excellent influencing skills and communication with a logical and pragmatic style
  • A high level of personal commitment to task completion, with the ability to prioritise and attention to detail
