POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate will play an integral part of building the research function within its retained executive search business for the Life Sciences Team.

A talented professional, skilled in research and able to balance multiple searches at one time would do well in this role. The Associate operates independently yet functions well in teams; balances drive and initiative with good judgment; communicates effectively with candidates and clients; and delivers results with strong ethics and integrity.

The Associate takes a leading role in search execution, mainly focusing on desk research (company and candidate identification), high quality telephone screening and assessments, progress report writing and informing clients on the first stages of the search, including market feedback. The Associate will also support preparing pitch documents for business development purposes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

\xc2\xb7 Work with Consultants to create a multi-channel sourcing strategy to target companies and relevant potential candidates within the market.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct thorough research to navigate target companies and build lists of candidates which accurately reflect the client briefing.

\xc2\xb7 Identify relevant candidate profiles using variety of sourcing techniques.

\xc2\xb7 Execute direct talent sourcing practices and candidate screening techniques to include resume pre-screening, telephone interviewing and shortlisting.

\xc2\xb7 Use competency-based interviewing techniques to qualify suitable candidates.

\xc2\xb7 Reach out to engage passive candidates and screen them against agreed competencies.

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with colleagues and occasionally hiring managers to set expectations for the recruitment process and to fulfil the required search briefing

\xc2\xb7 Conduct ongoing candidate pipeline development activities and talent network expansion for active and future requisitions.

\xc2\xb7 Balance deadlines and deliverables for multiple searches at a time.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain data quality and accuracy within the company\'s internal database.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

\xc2\xb7 Bachelors or Masters degree.

\xc2\xb7 2 years Demonstrable executive or retained search experience.

\xc2\xb7 Experience gained in research and/or passive candidate identification and mapping / sourcing

\xc2\xb7 Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

\xc2\xb7 A high degree of customer focus and attention to detail.

\xc2\xb7 Strong drive for results and a commitment to producing a high level of work efficiently and often within tight timeframes.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to adapt to new processes and effectively deal with change and ambiguity.
