The Role \xe2\x80\x93 Senior App Product Manager

The Digital Product Team sits in the Digital function within the Customer & Marketing Team.

We own a critical part of the easyJet customer journey as we look after the primary digital customer touchpoints. We maintain and innovate our website and our award-winning mobile apps to deliver best in class customer experience, all whist delivering and exceeding on business objectives. We are a lean team that operates efficiently, with focused strategy, clear objectives, data driven decision making, and value-based output.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

You will oversee the product management of easyJet\xe2\x80\x99s award-winning and market-leading mobile app and associated day-of-travel digital products for our customers.

Working with the Head of Digital Product, this role is accountable for formulating the Digital Mobile App strategy, delivering on it and owning the product roadmap; ensuring we promote and grow a customer-centric, market leading digital experience.

You will also be required to contribute to a range of commercial initiatives whilst actively supporting and demonstrating agile ways of working across the wider Customer department.

Qualifications

How you will do it:

\xc2\xb7 Adopt an entrepreneurial approach to innovating the mobile app product, ensuring that iterations of the app deliver tangible value to the customer and business.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with our development teams and other cross-functional teams to deliver on product-related strategic objectives.

\xc2\xb7 Generate ideas and identify areas of improvement across the mobile app and associated day of travel products

\xc2\xb7 Use analysis tools such as Google Analytics to track app performance to understand and identify areas which can be improved through change and optimisation, thus driving commercial improvements for the mobile app.

\xc2\xb7 Implement and manage ongoing app optimisation, whether this be tests (MvT / A/B) or \xe2\x80\x98straight to development\xe2\x80\x99 UX enhancements so that the customer experience may be continually optimised and enhanced.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute towards a controlled app acquisition and growth strategy, supporting and assisting the SEO, PPC and wider Digital Team to target and deliver initiatives to strengthen app promotion, adoption, and loyalty.

\xc2\xb7 Develop an understanding of the current and future customer needs for the mobile app. Also taking account of customer trends and behavioural patterns, ensuring easyJet is best placed to service mobile customers ahead of its competitors.

\xc2\xb7 Lead, develop and grow a high-performing Mobile App Digital Team with a culture of personal accountability and shared success.

\xc2\xb7 Play a key role in the shift to agile ways of working across the wider easyJet company.

\xc2\xb7 Engage with stakeholders and other interested parties across the business, to evangelise the Digital area and keep stakeholders abreast of new app enhancements.

\xc2\xb7 Keep up to date with the latest app developments and mobile/Apple/Google technology, consistently looking for opportunities to support the delivery of the Digital KPIs.

What you will need to do the role:

\xc2\xb7 Ideally you will have knowledge or experience of working across European markets in a Lead Digital role, possibly gained in E-commerce, Travel, Leisure, Retail or other complex, fast-moving environments.

\xc2\xb7 You will have 5-7 years Digital Product Management and specifically Native Mobile App experience

\xc2\xb7 Experienced in leading a high performing team of Digital Managers or Product Owners

\xc2\xb7 Ability to balance multiple stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Strong mobile app UX and design expertise along with best practice application

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and understanding of accessibility best practice on mobile app

\xc2\xb7 Finally, you will be experienced with mobile app development practices and processes, Analytics tools, e.g. Google Analytics 360 and working in an Agile environment

Location & Hours of Work

This is a full-time hybrid working role, we typically get together once a week in the office which is based at Luton Airport.
