In this role, you don\'t need to be finding new business or selling products, you\'re there to offer your expert advice and support.
You\'ll be joining a small, but well-established business of 12, meaning your opinion and knowledge will be truly heard.
When you\'re not out visiting growers, you have the choice to work from home, or at their office in Kent.
You\'ll be working with 10 - 15 soft fruit growers across Kent and East Anglia, and advise them on crop production, husbandry, growing media, fertigation and IPM schemes.
These relationships are long-existing and well-established, so they\'ll welcome your advice and expertise.
You\'ll be out and about visiting growers most days, and crop walking will play a huge part in this role.
As well as agronomy, this business also has a trials site, where they are constantly testing new varieties, and technology, and hosting events. You\'ll be keeping in touch with the trials team regularly so you can feedback to your growers about any updates within the industry so they\'re at the top of their game.
Because of how busy this role is. We need someone who is already FACTS/BASIS qualified and has experience in a similar agronomy post.
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about growing, keeping up to date with trends and loves chatting to growers.
For an informal chat, please call me, Sarah on 01780 480530, email sarah@morepeople.co.uk or drop me a message on LinkedIn. Don\'t worry if your CV isn\'t up to date, just send what you have already, and we can sort the rest later.
