This role is part of the Chief Research Programmes Officer\'s front office - a team of 6 - and reports to the Head of Research Programmes Operations
In this role you will:
Work closely with members of the Chief Research Programs Officer\'s front-office team on tasks and projects allocated by the Head of Research Programme Operations and Lead Advisor.
Work with colleagues across Research Programmes and provide them with desk research, analysis, frameworks and actionable recommendations on issues and opportunities related to Wellcome\'s strategy and programmes.
Remain up-to-date on matters affecting relationships with key partners, coordinating with Government Relations and Strategic Partnerships to ensure that the CRPO is current on developments affecting Wellcome\xe2\x80\x99s relationship with key partners, and that GRSP is informed of developments arising from interactions between the CRPO and key partners.
Support thinking on and work for Research Programmes submissions to various internal and external governance groups and boards.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to employ diverse approaches to effectively communicate complex information to individuals and groups from a range of different background and different seniority levels.
Experience working with and delivering reports and presentations to senior executives, ideally in public health or pharmaceutical research and development.
The ability to manage a diverse portfolio of work and manage a fluctuating, sometimes heavy, workload and competing priorities .
Experience working at a management consultancy firm or similar is highly desirable.
