Senior Group AccountantMaidenheadxc2xa360-75,000 plus benefits (DOE)Grafton Banks is representing a progressive and acquisitive group xc2xa350m to fill a newly created Senior Group Accountant role to assist in group acquisitions and play a role in shaping the business moving forward. The firm has cutting edge technology at its heart, is carbon neutral, and operates with high integrity.Reporting to the Financial Controller, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to drive financial excellence by leading acquisitions, streamlining reporting processes, and ensuring accurate consolidation across the group.With a strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach, you will help implement key financial controls, support year-end and monthly reporting, and collaborate with external auditorsxe2x80x94all while contributing to our vision of taking the business to the next level.Responsibilities Include:

• To assist with future acquisitions for the group and integrate the entities as part of the current group and financial reporting systems
• To support the completion of year end statutory accounts for individual subsidiaries and the consolidation process
• To support the monthly management accounts process ensuring timely and accurate reporting to key stakeholders xe2x80x93 involving trading subsidiaries as well as holding companies and overall consolidation for the group
• To prepare monthly analysis of balance sheet accounts, including payables and debtorsxe2x80x99 analysis
• To assist with the implementation of key controls and processes within the group
• Business Partner across Finance and the wider business to support and challenge where required
• Mentor Junior Team Members

Essential Skills Required xe2x80x93

• Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA)
• 1-4 years post qualified experience

• Experience working with a multi-entity business
• Financial accounting / group accounting experience
• Be ambitious, hungry and keen to grow in a developing and ever-changing organisation.

Desirable-

• Experience with a Big 4 Accountancy firm (PwC, EY, KPMG, Deloitte)
• Power BI
