Your Impact

We're looking for a senior accountant based in the UK to take ownership of key financial activities, including a timely month end close and reconciliation process, and various process improvement initiatives. You will report to the European Financial Controller as a valued member of the global accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the business as it pushes into the next phase of growth. The position requires the ability and willingness to travel to the London office at least once per week to collaborate with key stakeholders and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for Europe and APAC month-end close, including the preparation of journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts and supporting schedules for key financial accounts. Identifying opportunities to streamline month end close and reporting processes as part of a global initiative with reducing time to close Overseeing the processing of UK accounts payable to ensure timely payments to our suppliers. Supporting the European Financial Controller with statutory and management reporting requirements Assist with Netsuite system optimization projects including reporting enhancements and contributing to a successful AP system implementation Assisting the European Financial Controller and VP Global Accounting with the development of global accounting policies, procedures and processes Assisting with year-end activities, including financial audits, statutory accounts, and tax compliance processes.

Required Skills

3-5 years experience in a similar position Strong accounting knowledge with UK GAAP Experience with Netsuite advantageous ACCA / CIMA / ACA certification Highly disciplined, consistently meets deadlines with a high standard of output Process-driven with a knack for driving efficiencies Confidence to engage and liaise with stakeholders at different levels of seniority Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience in a complex multi-currency environment and management of international subsidiaries Excellent communicator with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills This is a Hybrid position requiring 1 day a week in the office

Preferred Skills

Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and Power Query Experience invariance analysis, especially within global operations. Experience supporting international subsidiaries, particularly across EMEA and APAC. Google suite
