Salary: circa 50,000 per annum depending on experience plus a car allowance of 6,000 per annum.

The Senior Accountant Role:
As a key member of the Tructyre Finance Team, you shall be responsible for accurate and timely reporting of month end results and completion of balance sheet reconciliations. This will include recording and analysing financial transactions and preparing reports that are used to support decision making.
You shall play an important role in supporting our overall business performance by advising on ways to reduce costs, resolve issues and improve processes. You will support budget and forecasting activities as well as ensuring adherence to financial accounting standards, group policies and financial controls and effectively helping to manage risk across the finance team.
Key Responsibilities as a Senior Accountant:
Be a role model for your team (1 employee). Oversee their day-to-day performance whilst coaching, teaching and providing them opportunities to learn and develop.
Post financial transactions as part of the month end process such as accruals and prepayments.
Manage provisions and contingent liabilities, including restructuring.
Analyse financial data to identify trends and patterns.
Use financial data to help make decisions about actuals, budgeting and forecasting.
Responsible for reporting monthly results, including intercompany activity to Group.
Keep informed of changes in accounting standards and changes in accounting process or policies to ensure full accounting compliance. You will play a key role in shaping business process to ensure compliance is met.
Completion and adherence to financial internal controls which may also include development/design of controls and consulting with wider business to drive overall compliance.
Ensure balance sheet is reconciled each month (either by doing or overseeing), risks and opportunities reported and actions taken proactively.
Conduct P&L reviews with business controller (v budget and forecast) and engage with the business to address actions.
What we are looking for:
Qualified Professional Accounting Qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
Good level of post qualification experience or newly qualified with experience.
Possesses strong technical skill with attention to detail.
Demonstrates strong mathematical and analytical skills over large amounts of data.
Experience of working within a financial control framework.
