About the role

You are passionate about how corporate reputations are built and protected, and have a knack for creating the digital, media and thought leadership content the world\'s leading businesses need to bring their stories alive.

You write well and know how to inform and influence target audiences - including clients - both directly and especially through digital PR and social media channels.

You are the go-to among your contacts for perspective on the biggest emerging trends in social media and digital platforms. You\'re obsessed with data, tech, innovation and have an interest in and understanding of current affairs and the wider political, societal, and cultural landscape around you.

We are looking hire a Senior Account Director who has proven experience developing digital strategies and activities for clients and overseeing their execution. You will play a leadership role in new business development, client advisory and upskilling colleagues, quality controlling all aspects of clients\' programmes and relationships with the agency.

You may be coming from either a consultancy or an in-house role but it is important you understand the demands and technical requirements of the consultancy environment.

What you will do as you move with us:

You will play a leadership role in developing our growing digital offer, integrating data, digital, social media, and storytelling into every one of our specialisms as well as providing sound counsel to our corporate clients. You will bring this alive by creating winning strategies, leading teams and client accounts, and increasing the award-winning profile of the firm through innovative, never-been-done-before approaches to PR.

On a day-to-today basis you will\xe2\x80\xa6

  • Drive forward our digital offer - You will champion and demonstrate an expert understanding of the digital and social media landscape, advising the team on the latest trends, tools, and channels available to us and how to incorporate them into client programs. You will grow with the team and the agency, tapping into specialist skills from our Hub Team in London and the wider Europe & Africa Digital Innovation team.
  • You bring an in-depth knowledge of the main social media and web platforms (with a focus on Twitter and LinkedIn) and have practical experience of using social media in media relations, public affairs, and/or corporate communications.
  • Campaign planning, management and delivery - Ideating and translating creative content ideas into client communication strategies, which are developed and clearly documented in PR plans which reflect the communication objectives for each client and enable delivery of all supporting activity.
  • Client relationships - You lead multiple relationships with clients, including members of the digital, PR and marketing teams, key spokespeople, sales teams and others.
  • Presentation & facilitation- You confidently present your work and ideas, and can effectively facilitate internal and client-facing discussions across meetings and workshops, internally with teams and externally with clients, prospects and other audiences.
  • Media - You understand how to use thought leadership and strategic content to support the media relations team in their work engaging with key media, influencers, thought leaders and bloggers.
  • Networking & business development - You have a growing list of contacts in the social media, digital marketing and media ecosystem, and thrive on networking and meeting new like-minded people for client and for business development purposes.
  • People and team management - You have experience of effectively working with others to deliver the very best for our clients, while motivating, supporting and developing team members.
