SEN Teaching Assistantxc2xa3400 xc2xa3600 per week (dependent on experience)Derby and/or NottinghamAbout UsConnex Education work with a number of schools in the Nottingham area to provide supply staff.All roles are available for immediate start, with both short-term and long-term positions on offer.What Connex Offers;

About the role:Are you passionate about making a real difference in childrens lives? Were on the hunt for an amazing Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our friendly school family in Nottingham. If you love working with kids and have a knack for helping those who need a little extra support, we want to hear from you!What Youll Be Doing:
  • Being that crucial support person for our amazing SEN students
  • Getting creative with teachers to make learning accessible and fun
  • Keeping track of how our students are doing (nothing too fancy, just good notes!)
  • Running small group sessions where the magic happens
  • Being there for students when they need emotional or behavioural support
  • Joining in with our planning sessions (we love fresh ideas!)
  • Experience working with SEN children (we want to know you know your stuff!)
  • A good understanding of different special educational needs
  • Great people skills youll need to be a bit of a communication wizard
  • Buckets of patience and a warm, caring nature
  • Good organisation skills (we know paperwork isnt the fun part, but its important!)
  • Team spirit were all in this together!
