We are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a delightful Year 2 pupil at our primary school in Camden. This full-time role, starting in September, offers excellent transport links and the chance to have paid trial days.

\xf0\x9f\x8c\x9f The Role: SEN Teaching Assistant \xf0\x9f\x8c\x9f As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

\xe2\x9c\xa8 Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met. \xe2\x9c\xa8 Work closely with the class teacher and SEN coordinator to implement personalized learning plans, tailored to the pupil\'s specific requirements. \xe2\x9c\xa8 Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment, promoting independence and social integration. \xe2\x9c\xa8 Employ a range of strategies to engage and motivate the pupil, utilizing visual aids, sensory activities, and individualized resources. \xe2\x9c\xa8 Collaborate with a supportive team, sharing insights, and participating in relevant training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

\xe2\x9c\x94\xef\xb8\x8f Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or similar Special Educational Needs (SEN). \xe2\x9c\x94\xef\xb8\x8f A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with the pupil. \xe2\x9c\x94\xef\xb8\x8f Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals. \xe2\x9c\x94\xef\xb8\x8f A commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to make a positive impact on the pupil\'s educational journey.
