SEND Teacher

Milk Education are looking for a SEND Teacher with Core Subject Specialisms to partner with an amazing SEND primary and Secondary setting in Manchester City Center who are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced SEND educator to join their team.

As a SEND Teacher you will be required to supervise pre-planned lessons, prepare lessons and manage the classroom well. The role will involve working with a great team of staff and educating pupils with SEND, complex needs and physical difficulties which means you have to be empathetic, resilient and compassionate.

We are looking for a SEND Teacher who has an excellent teaching manner, strong classroom management and the willingness to conduct the full teaching cycle at all times.

In order to be considered for the role as a SEND Teacher we require you meet the following criteria;

\xc2\xb7 Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed or a BA Hons.

\xc2\xb7 Have core subjects as your subject specialism.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with SEND/SEMH and challenging behaviours.

\xc2\xb7 A sound knowledge of a variety of teaching methods appropriate for pupils with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and the ability to design adaptive lessons and projects.

\xc2\xb7 Be versatile across subjects and be open to working as support and leading classrooms.

\xc2\xb7 A great energy and communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Compassionate and positive with a flexible approach when supporting the children.
