Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in South Birmingham, with a passion to support pupils with Special Needs?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a hardworking and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic special school in South Birmingham to start from September on a long-term basis. The school is split across 2 sites, supporting pupils with SLD and PMLD from early years through to Post 16.

The successful SEND TA will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCP\'s. With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the teacher, and you will support pupils with their progress and attainment.

Experience supporting some of the following is essential:

ADHD

Asperger Syndrome

Autism (ASD)

Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD, formerly EBD)

Challenging Behaviour

Dyslexia

Epilepsy

Global Development Delay (GDD)

Hearing Impairment (HI)

Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)

Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)

Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD)

Speech and Language Disorder

Severe learning difficulties (SLD)

Profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)

Visual Impairment (VI).
