SEN Teaching Assistant - Redbridge - Immediate Start

Create Education are looking to speak with enthusiastic people for some exciting opportunities working with a Pupil Referral Unit.

The PRU is commissioned by the local authority to provide 48 Key Stage 3/4 placements for students who are unable to access mainstream education due to behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties and focuses its resources to ensure equality of access for all pupils regardless of disability, with their individual needs assessed and resourced in order to ensure that students make progress with their behaviour management and academic attainment.

The placement will be for the rest of the academic year, starting immediately with the opportunity for placement across the next academic year. It's a fantastic opportunity to not only support students who need it the most, but to further your career working in the mental health and SEN field. There will be the potential to move into a permanent position.

Working with different types of SEN

Sensory, Speech and Language and Challenging Behaviour.

Working across KS3, and KS4

To start as soon as possible, full-time role.

Person Specification - SEN Teaching Assistant - Redbridge

If you are a recent Graduate in any discipline - school is particularly interested in speaking with Psychology, Sociology and Criminology Graduates.

Enthusiastic, Reliable and Empathetic

Hard working individual and dependable person

Responsibilities - SEN Teaching Assistant - Redbridge

Assist in the educational and social development of students with special educational needs (SEN).

Support teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for children, particularly those with autism.

Foster a positive learning environment through effective communication and engagement with students.

Collaborate with educational staff to enhance teaching strategies and support student learning.

Pay: 90.00-110.00 per day
