An opportunity has arisen to join a secondary school in Enfield as a full-time Special Needs Teaching Assistant.
The role will focus on working with a range of students with special needs, particularly those with behavioural needs. The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management strategies and be firm yet fair and consistent in their approach. The role will offer variety as you will be working with different students throughout the week in different year groups, so you should be flexible and adaptable.

The school was graded as "good" following their most recent inspection last year and they are always looking for ways to make further improvements. The school is led by an established leadership team who have a firm commitment to providing with the best possible environment for learning for the students. This is an oversubscribed school and is a popular place to work.
The salary for this role is \xc2\xa380-90 per day, and the working hours are 8.15 AM - 4.00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Requirements for this Special Needs Teaching Assistant role:
Experience working with students with special needs in a school/college setting
A calm, patient and consistent approach
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain accurate records and attention to detail
Please note that you must have:
An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible
