The school supports 90 children with complex and multiple needs across 9 classes, all of whom have an Education and Health Care Plan. The pupils may have Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and/or a diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASD). Some pupils have additional needs including visual impairment and hearing impairment.

Your Role:

Providing one-on-one or group support to students with special needs.

Building strong, supportive relationships with students and fostering their social and emotional growth.

Assisting teachers in implementing individualised educational plans (IEPs) and adapting instructional materials.

Encouraging communication and independence among students.

Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Documenting student progress and collaborating with the teaching team.
