Do you have a calm, nurturing approach and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils?We are currently seeking dedicated SEND Classroom Assistants to join a range of primary schools across Leeds, supporting pupils from EYFS to KS2 with a variety of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.???? The Role:Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groupsWork closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement strategiesAssist in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environmentUse de-escalation techniques when requiredFoster engagement and build trust with pupils???? Requirements:Experience working with children or adults with SEND is highly desirableA genuine interest in supporting children with additional needsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to stay calm under pressure and use positive behaviour management strategiesEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)????
