Position Summary Due to continued growth and development, WRC is recruiting for a semi-skilled HGV Mechanic to join our growing team in support of our ongoing expansion. This is the perfect position for an individual with some HGV or agricultural experience looking for their next career change. Working with our team of fully qualified Mechanics, you will grow your knowledge and gain vast experience in heavy goods maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of vehicles and plant at our Inchinnan depot. Duties \xc2\xb7 Assisting the maintenance and repair of WRC\xe2\x80\x99s current fleet of vehicles and plant to ensure they are compliant with current health and safety regulations as well as DVLA standards. \xc2\xb7 Replacing wheels and tyres \xc2\xb7 Maintaining equipment and tools \xc2\xb7 Carrying out day-to-day repairs such as basic welding and servicing \xc2\xb7 Playing a vital role in maintaining the operation of cutting-edge recycling machinery \xc2\xb7 Regular fault diagnosis and rectification. Requirements of the role \xc2\xb7 The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license. \xc2\xb7 Must be semi-skilled \xc2\xb7 Forklift/ plant experience is desirable but not essential \xc2\xb7 Interest of working with a wide range of recycling plant and machinery \xc2\xb7 Candidates must be self-motivated with strict attention to detail.
