Semi-Senior Accountant - Hybrid (Shrewsbury Office)

We are looking for a

Semi-Senior Accountant

to join

Mercian Accountants

, a growing and forward-thinking firm.

This is a

hybrid role

- you will mainly work from home but will attend our

Shrewsbury office

a few days each month.

Ideal for someone who is

part-qualified (ACA/ACCA)

or

qualified by experience

, seeking flexibility and career development in a supportive environment.

Key Requirements:

UK-based, with the ability to travel to

Shrewsbury

regularly Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience Experience in

Accounts preparation

and

Tax (company and personal)

Strong communication skills - written, phone, and video Comfortable with client interaction and relationship management Organised and able to manage deadlines independently

Desirable:

Experience with

TaxCalc

(Accounts & Tax) Familiarity with

Engager

Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice
