Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Makeup Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of makeup application techniques. As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for enhancing the natural beauty of our clients, providing exceptional customer service, and creating stunning looks for various occasions. This role requires excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Apply makeup to clients for special events, photoshoots, or everyday wear, ensuring a flawless finish. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and desired looks, offering professional advice on makeup styles and products. Maintain an organised and hygienic workspace, ensuring all tools and products are clean and in good condition. Stay updated on the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with contemporary looks. Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing any client concerns or questions. Collaborate with other beauty professionals, such as hairstylists and photographers, to achieve cohesive looks for events or shoots.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training opportunities may be available. Strong skills in makeup application techniques across various styles (e.g., bridal, editorial, special effects). Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs. A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and creating positive client experiences. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required by client bookings. A portfolio showcasing previous work is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: 12.21-38.45 per hour
