Vigilant Security are offering an exciting opportunity for a security supervisor to join our expanding team, working on in a NHS hospital in Reading.

Scope:

This is a full time contract working 4 on 4 off, days nights weekend.

The post holder (SIA license) will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements at a strategically important site, maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Pay Rate \xc2\xa311.92 p/h.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Provide a prompt, polite and warm welcome to all visitors and staff.

\xc2\xb7 Supervising a team of 5 or more staff

\xc2\xb7 Anticipate clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs/problems before they arise and that their expectations are met and exceeded each day

\xc2\xb7 Be seen as a visible customer focused professional greeting and engaging with visitors and staff.

\xc2\xb7 Provide a consistent professional service at all times.

\xc2\xb7 Communicate visitor/client arrivals to the relevant person promptly.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain a high security awareness at all times

\xc2\xb7 Undertake patrols and inspections in accordance with management instructions.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient use of relevant communications equipment will require candidate to have good communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring that no un-authorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.

\xc2\xb7 Issue visitor passes using agreed processes and procedures

\xc2\xb7 Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur.

\xc2\xb7 Able to be vetted back 5 years or since leaving compulsory education.

\xc2\xb7 Provide support to the wider when required.

\xc2\xb7 Current SIA license and CCTV License
