Security Officer
Job Description
H&S fm ltd is looking for an organized Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will ensure the security and safety of our personnel, property, and data by monitoring and patrolling our premises.
You will be responsible for maintaining order, responding to emergencies, enforcing rules and regulations, and protecting our assets. You will also provide security training for our personnel, investigate breaches of security, and create security reports.
You should have excellent observational and communication skills. Qualified candidates should have previous security or law enforcement experience and be knowledgeable of emergency procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the security of the building and grounds
- Respond to emergencies and criminal activities
- Enforce rules and regulations
- Investigate and document incidents such as theft, accidents, and vandalism
- Patrol property regularly
- Operate surveillance equipment
- Prepare reports and maintain records
- Report suspicious activity to superiors
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous security or law enforcement experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of security policies and procedures
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Good observational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Working knowledge of computer systems
