Job Description

Our IT team at the Frontline Group are looking for a new Security Manager to continue support the IT Requirements for the group. The role will set and maintain the cyber security standards for the group and provide investigation, mitigation and remediation of all cyber security threats to the business. The fantastic opportunity is offered as a full time, permanent position.

Our Security Manager will be key in establishing new policies and procedures to ensure the systems of the group remain protected. Our Security Manager will work with internal and external contacts to research and protect against modern threats through the use of technology and best practices.

Our Security Manager will manage and develop a team of Security Analysts to support them in their work and ensure that our systems remain protected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Propose the implementation and support of suitable security monitoring software packages, working closely with the support team members.
• Review current systems against the industries standards and propose required changes or improvements to improve our security posture.
• Plan and implement security related mitigation tasks to address known security vulnerabilities with the rest of the support teams as a resource.
• Provide regular updates and advice to the IT Systems and Support Manager to allow briefings and reports to be given to FLT on the businesses security posture and potential threats and required improvements.
• Develop policies and procedures to protect the data and systems of the Frontline Group businesses.
• Manage threats and incidents that may occur within the business.
• Complete investigation of incident and develop a plan to address any root cause of security weaknesses.
• Remain updated on all emerging threats inclusive of \xe2\x80\x9czero-day\xe2\x80\x9d and long-term vulnerabilities that may affect the function of Frontline Group systems.
• Manage the security team to ensure there is always adequate cover for business systems.
• Ensure that skills are continually developed and adequate training is provided and researched for Security based roles.
