About the role:

The Security Controller for JFD UK has responsibility to the board level contact (BLC) to ensure JFD's United Kingdom's systems, operations and facilities are compliant with relevant assigned UK security requirements.



As an appropriate security management system will be implemented, this role will also provide ongoing administrative support for the HSSEQ team as an ancillary function while maintaining the security management system.



Your key responsibilities will also include:


Developing and maintaining an appropriate security management system for the United Kingdom, leveraging support from those other key relationships to ensure sustainable security management and a significant security presence in the UK organisation. Maintaining the United Kingdom entities organisational compliance with relevant facility and personnel security controller terms of requirements as defined by the role. Ensuring the business has suitable and professional training content for appropriate security compliance and security risks. Ensuring security audits are conducted in a timely manner and ensure any non-conformances are addressed by the relevant parties. Reporting any deficiencies to relevant stakeholders, including the BLC, and planning to address these in collaboration with relevant stakeholders within an agreed timeframe as approved by the BLC and HSSEQ Manager. Accountable for any other tasks that are reasonably within the remit of the role as determined by the Line Manager. Report any health and safety issues identified within your work environment and ensure your actions or inactions do not adversely affect another person's health and safety.

What do you need?


Ability to attain and successfully hold a UK security clearance. Be a British National or hold dual nationality where one of those is a British National Knowledge of UK security requirements suitable for organisations. Building and improving effective security management systems for organisations. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft365 suite. Appropriate accreditations and skills to deliver the scope of the role.
