What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:
Delivering a range of physical and technical security assessments such as; facility threat and vulnerability assessments, STaMP, security surveys and operational requirements across the BAE Systems Submarines estate
\xc2\xb7 Provide subject matter expertise in the design and management of physical and technical security measures to meet a broad and complex range of threats
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate and deliver an assessment and physical security risk management programme
\xc2\xb7 Work alongside other security disciplines, facility management and outside agencies to deliver assessments in support of the effective provision of business enabling security and create resilient, secure working environments
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
\xc2\xb7 Experience conducting security surveys and vulnerability assessments
\xc2\xb7 Strong demonstrable verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce reports and documentation at a high level
\xc2\xb7 Experience in a security role acquiring the same skills and responsibilities, ideally gained in a Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), Defence, law enforcement or another highly regulated environment.
\xc2\xb7 A practical understanding of security risk management principles
Desirable:
\xc2\xb7 Intelligence and infrastructure resilience
\xc2\xb7 Membership of a relevant professional body (i.e. Security Institute, ASIS, ISRM)
\xc2\xb7 Related security qualification such as ISMI CSMP, ASIS PSP etc.
\xc2\xb7 Understanding and experience with the NPSA STaMP process and counter-sabotage

The Security Associate works within the Physical & Technical Security team, which is responsible for the assessment of physical and technical security and delivering security measures that protect BAE Systems, its people, infrastructure, information and assets, as well as the interests of its shareholders and customers, and to fulfill regulatory and legal obligations.
