Section Engineer
to join our ourCross passages team
on the Long Itchington Wood tunnelling team. Role Purpose: To provide management and control of a section of works and team comprising Site Engineers management of sub contractors focusing on SCL and Concrete activities for the construction of Tunnels cross passages.What you'll be doing:
Liaise with designer to resolve technical issues Understands cost and value Drafts correspondence to sub-contractors, suppliers and Client Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity, including managing others in this regard Able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility Excellent team player, able to work competently and independently without continuous supervision
Who we're looking for:
Civil Engineering experience in SCL and Tunnels Holds a valid CSCS Has a UK driving licence Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
