Sport England are seeking a Secretariat Team Assistant who will play a key supporting role in in putting Sport England\xe2\x80\x99s visionary ten-year strategy, Uniting the Movement, into practice.
In this newly created role, you will provide high quality secretarial and administrative support across our Executive Leadership Team, Board and Committees, by planning and delivering cycles of meetings.
You will be part of a small Secretariat team and work with senior leaders to schedule forward plans, draft agendas, and commission and circulate papers. The Secretariat team provides comprehensive professional advice to our Chairs, Board and Committee members, ensuring compliance as a public body.
Please note this role can be homebased or hybrid office based in Loughborough or Bisham, and will require regular travel to attend meetings at our London office (Canary Wharf) - travel expenses from your usual place of work will be covered.

Role Purpose
Provide administrative and secretarial support across Sport England\xe2\x80\x99s main corporate governance structures by proactively coordinating the cycle of corporate meetings.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Very good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.\xe2\x80\x8b
Experience of coordinating multiple diaries across a large team or small to medium sized business.\xe2\x80\x8b
Ability to minute meetings including action items.\xe2\x80\x8b
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\xe2\x80\x8b
Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.\xe2\x80\x8b
Experience of working with MS Teams and basic MS Office (Outlook \xe2\x80\x93 email and calendar functions, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
Desirable
Demonstrated experience in a similar role with a focus on corporate governance, preferably within the public sector or regulated environment.\xe2\x80\x8b
Knowledge of corporate governance principles, regulations, and best practices.
