Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a proven track record of excellence in food preparation and kitchen management. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality, while also mentoring and supervising kitchen staff.

Duties



Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Oversee food preparation processes to maintain consistency and quality across all dishes. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team culture. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle any customer feedback or complaints related to food quality or service.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques and presentation. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen staff. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Passion for cooking and creativity in menu development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 34,731.00-45,500.00 per year
