Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your leadership and culinary expertise will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Develop new menu items and specials that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste through effective stock control. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods. Maintain high levels of food hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen at all times. Assist in the development of culinary training programmes for new team members.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting is essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional dining experiences to guests. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently. A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
