Job Summary
A traditional members Club established in 1897 and regularly ranked amongst the top 40 courses in the UK and Ireland Western Gailes Golf Club is looking to recruit a seasonal greenkeeper to join the agronomy team for the summer season.
A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to gain experience in the greenkeeping industry. Working alongside an experienced team, the role will allow the successful candidate to contribute significantly to the maintenance and presentation of a championship standard links golf course.
The role will involve setting up the course for play each day, assisting in a wide variety of greenkeeping tasks, using a modern and well maintained range of equipment.
Duties will include mowing, bunker maintenance, strimming, flymowing, filling divots
Some greenkeeping or groundcare experience preferred, however full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Hour
s: Mon -Fri 6am -2pmSome weekend morning work required as part of a rota system.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 5 months
