We are looking for enthusiastic & friendly people to deliver outstanding customer service as the first face that greets our guests as a part of our Front of House team, supporting our 2 dining venues, Bar1815 and the Bridge Restaurant.
You'll become an integral member of our team, delivering excellence to all our valued hotel and dining guests. The role is a proactive one, so if you are flexible, well organised, a great team player and possess excellent communication skills along with a genuine desire to work in the hospitality industry we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Have your service area fully prepared for service at the required time.
Ensure that customers are served quickly, correctly and efficiently as possible. Always acknowledge the presence of customers and make them feel relaxed and welcome in the service areas. Do everything reasonable to maximise sales of food and beverages and to encourage repeat business.
Learn about local ingredients and promote our Local Seasonal Fresh ethos to all our guests
Assume responsibility for stock, consumables and cash handling whilst on shift.
Ensure, as far as reasonably practical, the security and safety of customers with regard to health and safety and hygiene legislation. Licensing laws must be adhered to at all times.
Keep all areas allocated on shift as clean as possible at all times. At the end of service all areas must be thoroughly cleaned in preparation for the next shift.
Be prepared to help out in other departments in the hotel if should be necessary.
Ensure that you follow the correct procedures with regards to Guest Allergies.
Support the Food and Beverage Manager as and when required.
Experience & Skills
Previous restaurant/hospitality experience
