Turner & Townsend currently have a fantastic opportunity to work with one of our major Life Science partners within their capital delivery team. This role is key to support the optimisation of project lifecycle delivery for the client. The candidate will hold a pivotal role within the team to identify, coordinate and write a wide range of detailed project briefs. The candidate will have full access to a diverse group of Subject Matter Experts within the engineering team for support.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate priorities of the Capital Portfolio (3-5 year lookahead)
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies across the portfolio.
• Support the compilation of User Requirements Briefs (URBs) and ensure their seamless coordination.
• Facilitate design reviews and ensure adherence to established processes.
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to develop initial cost and schedule estimates.
• Take ownership and chair front-end meetings.
• Reporting on progress on URB positions
• Management of risk and opportunities within front end development to identify issue resolutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) partner as part of the Front-End Liaison, ensuring a smooth handover of Stage 1 Works
• Manage project initiation stages and develop comprehensive portfolio plan.
• Provide valuable insights and consultation to the EPCM Project Manager regarding scope changes and design intent during the project process.
• Assist in training all stakeholders on the URB Process, promoting a unified understanding across the organization.

REPORTING

• Depending upon context, a Project Manager is likely to report to an Associate Director or Director

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Project Management, etc.).
• Proven experience in front-end scope development and project coordination.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
• Relevant Life Science or Pharmaceutical construction experience beneficial, but other controlled environments also transferable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
