Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Working from home and any CBC offices, including Priory House, Shefford. You will be expected to attend a CBC office location on a monthly basis, and as needed to carry out your role

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to manage the Home to School Transport team for Children\'s Services. The Home to School Transport Manager will plan, manage and deliver an effective high-profile service for all eligible service users. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of transport for students by the necessary means including contracted transport, commercial services, pubic transport and the Councils fleet services. You will monitor and plan transport services for all service users in line with current and planned future demands, advertising and inviting tenders for specific services and letting contracts in line with relevant Council regulations. You will provide professional advice and support to parents, schools and governing bodies and prepare reports/briefings for senior management.
