The Role:


As a

School Office Administrator

, you will be the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors, providing efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office. Your role will involve handling enquiries, managing records, and supporting the wider school team in delivering excellent service to our community.

Key Responsibilities:



Acting as the first point of contact for all school visitors, parents, and students. Managing telephone calls and responding to email inquiries in a professional manner. Maintaining and updating school records and databases with accuracy. Supporting school staff with administrative duties, including handling correspondence and scheduling meetings. Assisting with school admissions, attendance tracking, and student records. Ensuring compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures. Organising and distributing communications such as newsletters and notices. Handling financial administrative tasks such as invoicing and petty cash (if applicable). Supporting events, trips, and other school-related activities.

About You:


To succeed in this role, you should have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in IT and administrative systems, including Microsoft Office. Previous experience in an administrative role (experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential). The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A friendly, professional, and approachable attitude. An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding in an educational environment.
